Dr Kate McCullough talks us through the diagnosis of PCOS.

In this module, you’ll get to know the different PCOS phenotypes and how they impact menstrual cyclicity, as well as what doctors do to intervene. 
 
Dr Kate McCullough graduated with a MBBS degree from the University of Sydney in 2016. She completed her internship and residency at St George Hospital and then worked as a senior resident in Emergency medicine before embarking on a career in general practice.
 
Dr Kate was previously a registered nurse, working in aged and dementia care for 5 years prior to completing medical school. She is passionate about women’s and perinatal health, breastfeeding medicine and paediatrics, and has almost completed her accreditation in Neuroprotective Developmental Care (the Possums programs).

The role of the Dietitian

Ronell Schoeman discusses the key nutrient and dietary considerations for women with PCOS
